Book a scoping callHow the map works
The week is 168 hours: 7 days × 24 hours. Business hours apply on the days you pick (Monday to Friday unless you change them), between the start and end times you choose.
Business hours are staffed. Assumes each service is covered during your business hours, on the days you pick, unless you tell us you don't monitor EDR alerts at all. Then SOC counts as uncovered all 168 hours.
Outside business hours, staffed means someone is working that service, on-call means a tech can be paged but isn't working, and nobody means tickets and alerts wait until the next business day.
Each square shows the weakest service at that hour. One service with nobody on it makes the hour "Nobody watching", because that's the service a client calls about.
Techs to staff the rest = each service's on-call and uncovered hours, divided by a 40-hour work week and rounded to one decimal, then added up. It doesn't include PTO, sick days or shift overlap, so the real number is higher.
Close those 118 hours without hiring 6 techs.
